Personal Training Inner Champion Spotlight – Tyler Winterholler

Aimsworx Inner Champion Spotlight

Tyler Winterholler

Tyler Winterholler is one of the hardest-working people I have ever met, and that work ethic makes him the kind of personal training client who achieves extraordinary results. For that reason, Tyler is receiving the Aimsworx Inner Champion Spotlight as Personal Training Client of the Month.

When Tyler trains, he pushes his sets with maximum intensity and purpose. That level of effort is often what separates exceptional results from average ones. At the same time, Tyler is the kind of person who might push himself too hard, so our programming is designed with precision to ensure his movement remains strong, balanced, and pain-free.

Not every workout needs to be the hardest workout ever. Some training days are intentionally programmed with lower intensity to reduce fatigue on the nervous system and stress on the joints. Arm and ab workouts are a perfect example. These sessions may place less systemic demand on the body, but when we perform them, we still attack each set with full effort. Combined with our larger push, pull, and leg training days, this balance allows us to fine-tune the body and build muscle definition exactly where we want it.

Regarding our work together, Tyler says:

“I call him ‘Body by Marc.’ Share the muscle line you want improved, and he’ll make it happen. My body now moves as one. Do yourself a favor and let him change your life.”

Tyler was actually my very first client when gyms reopened after the COVID shutdown in 2020. After three months without access to training facilities, he returned ready to completely change his life. The results were remarkable. In just twelve weeks, Tyler reduced his body fat percentage from 17% to 7%.

Not only did he achieve the physique he was striving for, even in his late fifties, he also reports that his body now feels unified and moves with greater ease. As a recovery specialist, that is something I especially love to hear—when a client feels stronger, more connected, and more capable in their body than ever before.

One of the aspects I am most proud of in Tyler’s training is that although I am known as a recovery specialist, many of my clients are not dealing with pain issues at all. Instead, we spend 95% of our time strength training and progressively overloading movement patterns that allow the body to function at its highest potential.

Tyler has been training with me since 2020, and now in 2026 he is in his 60s. Yet he performs stronger than most people half his age. His physique and muscle definition are proof that building muscle mass and achieving elite fitness results are absolutely possible well into your sixties.

In fact, his lean physique sometimes makes me question my own lifestyle habits and why my same workouts don’t produce 7% body fat.

Perhaps the answer lies where we began: Tyler’s work ethic is unmatched.

He is a man who knows what he wants. Our training together has not only transformed his physique but has helped reverse many of the limitations people associate with aging. Tyler spends his summers hiking Colorado’s 14ers and his spring season chasing the best powder skiing in Japan.

Six years into our training together, Tyler embodies a powerful truth:
Our habits and lifestyle determine how our body feels, moves, and performs far more than the number of years we have lived.

Cheers to many more years of hard work together, Tyler.
